Thanks, Paul… your gift guides always come to the rescue!
Once again, an amazingly useful guide. I bought a couple of items from your Christmas suggestions, and have my eye on something here too – I just know it’s something my partner will LOVE! ❤️
Valentine’s Day already? It seems only a few days ago that I was wrapping up Christmas presents.
It really wasn’t on my radar at all. You’ve got me out of potentially big, big trouble.
I know a lady who would be delighted to get a Plaza Travel Bag from Liberty. It is exactly her sort of style.
The Ember Travel Mug is a much needed gift for him. In my personal opinion his current travel mug is disgustingly.
My wife’s always been a big fan of Jo Malone fragrances and I think the inspirational back story is part of the appeal, from kitchen table experimentation with fragrances through to international brand.
I can’t remember the last time I walked through an international airport’s duty free without seeing some Jo Malone. I’m sure she’ll be willing to give this candle a try.
Last year my girlfriend gave me such a beautiful present and I gave her very little. Some great suggestions here that should help me to get it right this year.
Some great suggestions here. Let’s up hope that my partner has done his daily check-in on A Luxury Travel Blog. He’s addicted to travel.
You can not do Valentine’s Day without champagne!!!!
It has to be the Champagne Hamper.
Yes, it’s good to have a guide as a starting point. Trouble is that there’s a couple of things that I’m torn between. Making decisions is not my strongest point.
As we are hoping to take a romantic city break in April, the back-pack would be a way of looking forward to that treat.
That gold pendant is breathtakingly beautiful. I can find a beautiful neck for it too.
Taking a quantitative approach to this issue, 8 out of 11 comments so far are from men, that rounds up to 73%. Am I a female outlier in not having got Valentine’s Day sorted yet? And whilst I’m here – thank you for some great suggestions.
You’re not the only girl to struggle. I’ve dropped in looking for inspiration. I didn’t get any present buying genes from my parents.
I know I’m not in the spirit of Valentine’s Day. What my partner and I do is postpone it for a month. You usually get better value in mid-March.
This year we’re going to have a quiet weekend away. There have been some reviews of great rural escapes on ALTB lately and we thought we’d head up to one of the rural properties that Paul’s recently reviewed. By then there may be a few hints of spring in the air.
Any girl lucky enough to get one of those Holland and Cooper clutch bags should be very grateful. I’d love one – even if I have to buy it for myself.
The “Where We Met” map is a very creative idea. I think we’ll have to put ours on hold as we still can’t afford the wedding that we’d like!
No panic! It’s only the 11th. With this guide and internet express delivery Valentine’s Day ain’t a problem!
Last year my husband raised the bar on Valentine’s Day presents with an incredibly generous gift. I’m thinking that this year I’ve got to reciprocate!
PS It could have been that he’d been promoted and felt flush.
Always a nice list to get some ideas. Those Jo Malone candles surely are on my wife’s radar so I might just go for those. Then again, if she sees the list she might want to consider a few other options too ;)
I doubt that I will be receiving a Bremont Supernova watch as a Valentine’s present. Getting myself a new watch has been a thought percolating at the back of my mind for sometime and the Supernova matches many of the criteria that I have been setting. Having said that it would be a nice surprise if that watch was a gift from my wife.
