A friend of mine did one of those swimming “holidays” along the Croatian coast a few years ago. He was impressed by spectacular scenery and the quality of the water.
I’m definitely more of a luxury yacht person than open water swimming but from everything I’ve heard and seen the Croatian coast is a very promising destination.
If you’re in the Eastern Med then it’s got to be a Turkish gulet if you’re going to be in the true spirit of those seas. Even better if it’s got the luxury of a hot-tub on deck.
We all have such a desperate craving to be reunited with friends and families that I can see a booming market for group holidays this year. There will be big groups hiring yachts and villas and yurts etc so that they can spend time with the people they’ve missed for so long.
More and more travellers are looking for these kinds of holidays, private and with less risk of getting too close to people.
