  1. A dear friend of mine did part of the trip up to Bergen a couple of years ago when he had sold his business. It is fantastic he claims, but the downside was he had to drive back in 48 hours from Bergen to The Hague (>3,000 km), as his trip companion had a business appointment to meet.

  2. Hi Guido… I have taken a boat crossing from the east coast of England to Stavanger, and on to Bergen, before disembarking and exploring the fjords on Norway’s west coast. The scenery around that area is superb, and definitely a place I would love to return to one day.

As for that drive, that sounds like a not-to-pleasant end to the trip! I’ve also done a 48-hour trip from London to Copenhagen, again a long time ago, by coach so I wasn’t driving… but never again!!
