In the main compartment, there’s plenty of space for a change or two of clothes, and there are large front and back zip pockets in which you can hold items such as travel documents. I would take my Tommy Trip bag to the summer season in Punta del Este. Nothing better than visiting such a fancy place like Punta with a trip bag of style from Tommy. It is a great combination!
When the time comes for a man to travel the equipment he packs and the destination he chooses is essential. There’s an innate connection between the way we equip ourselves and how we approach a trip. Perhaps in a way it hearkens back to primitive times when we would don our hunting cloaks and set out into the wild in search of food or new places to live. A rugged bag like the Tommy Trip Bag has come to symbolize that modern hunting cloak. It’s where we store the things that are valuable to us – the things that enable our adventures. Where would I travel with mine? On an adventure. I can hear Iceland calling my name. Its rugged and untouched countryside offering an intoxicating mixture of charm, adventure and exploration.
I’d take it to a beach where there was nothing in the bag but a bikini and books. Maybe an mp3 player.
I would take my Tommy Trip Bag, packed with a bathing suit,a couple of pairs of shorts, and a couple of good books, straight onboard a flight to Oahu. I would then hop inter island flights from island to island with so much ease, because all I have to carry is my Tommy Trip Bag and nothing else. What a trip that would be with Tommy.
The Tommy Trip Bag looks like the perfect bag for our son to take on several upcoming weekend trips to visit colleges. He could stay well organized and keep all of his various electronic devices and paperwork in the handy outside pockets. Flying from Alaska to the lower 48 requires luggage that can take it all and this bag looks like it fits the bill and looks great too.
always wanted to travel light with a bag that compliments my lifestyle and Tommy trip looks as if I`ve found my soulmate. Embarking on a journey through India to find the inner me, this bag will hold all for the Outer Me!!
My bag would travel to South Texas to visit my Mom over the Christmas Holidays. My dad passed away a few months ago and I want to spend my first Christmas without him with my Mom. :)
It’s my mum’s 90th in January, so the Tommy Trip Bag would be packed for an extra special stay in London. Mum’s greatest wish is to take a trip on the London Eye, but I think that might be combined with afternoon tea at The Ritz and a West End show.
I’d need this versatile bag to pack both casual and smart attire, not to mention the bottle of champagne and the array of gifts I’ve assembled.
I’m glad it’s got plenty room for the extras I know I’ll need – the comfortable shoes mum swears she doesn’t need, the spare glasses and the camera to make sure we remember every detail.
As travel advisor, we receive amazing invitations. At the top of my head…last September on a trip with @relaischateaux through the Provence and the Cote d’Azur..my next trip to Kenya and Tanzania in November. Good places for the Tommy Trip to go.
I would take my Tommy Trip Bag San Francisco to watch my Detroit Tigers Beat the Giants in the World Series. I have never been to California and it would be a great bag to have to pack my things in.
The Tommy Trip bag would make the perfect companion for a weekend anniversary break with my wife to Paris to celebrate our 1st anniversary. With room for the smart clothes for a meal out and space for a surprise present or two it could help me earn some brownie points with my wife.
I do not believe in God but I want to walk the Camino to Santiago de Compostela. I only need hiking shoes and the will to walk for almost 800 km. Planning it in Easter time. It will take time and iron will.
The perfect cabin bag for a Round the World Trip ‘cos Tommy Trip is chic and hip and suits any trip
I’d take my bag to Virginia to visit a friend whom I served with in the military overseas. We haven’t seen each other since the day my family and I departed from my overseas assignment almost 20 years ago.
I would take my Tommy Trip Bag to the one destination I have always wanted to go: Washington DC. After disembarking at Union Station, I would have my Tommy Trip bag pack full of things to help me visit during the spring: a pink shirt to coordinate with the cherry blossoms in their full bloom, a patriotic t-shirt to wear as I pose in front of our national treasures, and a sweater for my evening cruise up the Potomac River.
Since the large front pockets are big enough to hold travel documents, I would have them chocked full of DC “tourist delights”: postcards, brochures, a camera w/ memory card, and little items picked up here and there for my friends and family back home.
Fortunately, the lightweight and comnpact design of the Tommy Trip Bag will easily meet the weight requirements of my retun train, and could possibly fit in my overhead storage area.
As a US Navy sailor, I travel a lot. When on duty, deployment or making a permanent change of station, I used my “official looking” luggage. When recreation calls, I am ready to make a quick weekend getaway; that is where the Tommy Trip Bag would come in.
Whether I have one day off or several, I always like to keep a bag backed so I can “load and go”. From camping at a Georgia State Park Cabin to visiting a theme park for the weekend, the compact, yet organized design of the Tommy Trip Bag would be perfect.
Where would I take my Tommy Trip Bag? On every trip I go on of course! I like to travel light and this bag is ideal as I could use if for what I need as well as ample room for any souvenirs or other must-have items I pick up on my travels. As I can take it in the cabin its always to hand to store a magazine or travel book to read en-route. The first place I really would like to use it for though is to EuroDisney where I can act like a little kid again, whilst using my grown up bag to carry back my Mickey Ears – you can never have too many Mickey Mouse Ears, thats what I say!
I’d take it on a weekend break to visit family in France, as I could fit everything I need in it as hand baggage and that would save precious hours at the bag drop and luggage carousel – more time to spend with them.
I would take the Tommy trip bag on my coming trip to Singapore and Malaysia – It would make for a perfect carry-on bag! After that, I would use it for the rest of the travels I have planned for 2013- Europe, Bali. Some new luggage would inspire me to continue doing what I love and that is to travel!
I want to take my Tommy bag to Iceland. I can lay my head on him while I stare up at the northern lights with the sound of a waterfall rushing nearby. I’ll have a bathing suit my Tommy bag in case I come upon God’s hot tub…a warm volcanic spring.
I’d haul my Tommy Trip on forays round the country on our 10 ton vintage steam roller! I need a bag like this for the weekend essentials!
I’ll take my Tommy Trip bag to croatia. It will be perfect for yachting down the Adriatic Sea. Convenient and stylish!
I would take my Tommy trip bag on my weekend away at xmas and then on my birthday weekend away in march, it would then have a rest until my main holiday in Aug. We will have some fun on our little breaks :)
Books, books, books – I rarely get a chance to read with job and children, so holiday time is my opportunity to relax and read
Im visiting Paris in December January for the first time and the Tommy Trip bag will be my companion. I will be collecting beautiful memories of Paris and experiences, and my bag will be living vicariously through my experiences of Paris as I watch the city bustle with ageing viaducts and strolling lovers, young and old, arm in arm; and listening to shouts of “Chaud les marrons!” from vendors selling chestnuts roasting on coals, enjoying early sunsets and long evenings, strolling down the glowing city as a I window-shop. And oh lets not forget the ice skating, the Christmas carousels, the pony rides, puppet shows and seeing the symbol of France, the Eiffel Tower. Utter bliss!
I would love to take the Tommey Trip bag on my first ever family ski trip to Breckenridge, CO in February! It is perect for those cold weather essentials such as gloves, socks, caps, chap stick and camera!
I’d love to take the Tommy Trip bag to my short visits to Tokyo. I’m there once or twice a year for short trips and whether it’s spending the entire time in modern Tokyo or hopping on the bullet train to the nearest hot spring, I know Tommy Trip will always deliver- on style and functionality.
Our Tommy Bag will begin in the northern Adriatic and head to the Aegean and ultimately rest on the southern shore of Crete. It will be the birthday present that I take on this milestone birthday trip.
It’s my birthday this Christmas and I want to go to Paris. All alone. And with a great traveller bag.
My jaw dropped at the sight of the Tommy Trip bag! It is so perfect for my husband who will travel to Cambodia with me soon.
I would really love to see this bag on him while exploring the city of Siem Reap. A handsome bag on my beloved man in a beautiful city! Whoa! I could not ask for more.
I am so excited to win this Tommy Trip bag for him! I bet this will be his favorite travel bag ever! :D
My friend and I are on a quest to find the best margaritas on the planet, so I’d take my new Tommy Trip bag to Jalisco in Mexico to visit some of the tequila distilleries and learn more about some of the best tequilas.
I would show my Tommy Trip bag off to my friends and fellow Echelon (fans of 30 Seconds to Mars) around the world. My dream is to follow this band on their next world wide tour.
I’d travel to Singapore to shake hands and clink glasses with the creative team that designed the Tommy Trip weekender bag.
I’d take my bag EVERYWHERE! Learning to travel light is my life’s work (even though I never want to travel light at all)! But with a bag like this? Well, I’d happily reform and say goodbye to my chronic overpacking affliction forever!
This looks like a fab prize. However, I have a few small questions about it.
Is Tommy the hunky guy carrying it, and is he included with the Trip bag prize?
Also, on closer examination of the photo, I’m confused about what’s sticking out of his backside. Is it a fern, or perhaps an anchor which someone has stuck there blunt end first?
Meanwhile, here is my competition entry.
I usually look like a travelling circus everywhere I go – cameras, lenses, laptop, Kindle, etc, plus sometimes I even take some clothes. The Tommy Trip bag looks as though it would be big enough to accommodate all these things in one bag so I wouldn’t have to juggle so many other bags.
Despite its capacity, it seems as though it’s still reasonably compact. After all, if it can go as cabin baggage that’s another huge plus.
Where would I go with my Tommy Trip bag? Most likely I’d take it on all my trips around South East Asia.
I am ever on the quest for the perfect bag to wrangle my electronics and gadgets, as well as save a little room for clothes, and the Tommy Trip bag looks like it could be just that! I’ve always wanted to visit Vienna during the ball season, so if I win this bag, that will be my sign to just pull the trigger and go!
It would definitely come with me on my trips to Texas. It is a long trip from England to Texas and the Marcus Trip bag looks like it would do the trick.
I would take my Tommy Trip back all over! To France when I go visit a friend for their birthday, to the Highlands of Scotland for a quiet weekend away, and to the States when I go for a wedding next year.
I’d Trip the Lights Fandango and take my Tommy Trip Bag with me to London to watch Tommy The Musical. Tripping Tantastic !
I’d love the Tommy Trip bag to be Property Of ‘Moi’!
It’s gorgeously stylish so would be perfect for a weekend in the chic city of Paris – and it’s just the right size to hold everything for le weekend.
I d take to Miami my bag my wife and my Baby 2 be cause i ve to introduce him 2 America and stay CHIC
I’d take my tommy trip bag as my luxury item on next years round the world yacht race. To get into port and have a few items of clean, dry clothing hidden away in this – would be bliss.
I could take Tommy or Marcus all over the world they would make great travel companions….light, fantastic, drop dead gorgeous, rugged and eye catching …all I ever wanted from a travel bag!
Just what I need for my “one bag only” philosophy. I would love to pack my essentials into a Tommy Trip bag and head back to New Zealand.
I’ve been fortunate enough to live & experience life in 3 different continents: Asia, North America and currently Europe – Paris. When talking about luxury, where else is a better place for my Tommy Trip bag than Paris – the birth of luxury? He’ll surely have such a good life here with me (I promised! :), and also not to forget to mention, my Tommy will of course be with me to travel, explore & learn about the rest of the world. Don’t you think that is such a lovely & useful life and a good bag like our Tommy would deserve? ;)
I would take my Tommy bag everywhere and anywhere! I am always off on weekend trips exploring my own province of residence (BC, Canada) and having a bag that is well made and the perfect size for a few nights away is key. I have been to places that only have phone access and I have been to places that don’t even have that…this bag would allow me to take all that I need to completely escape! On the other hand, I love to cruise and what better way to carry on all of my essentials than with the Tommy bag…a perfect bag for after I have checked my larger luggage and also perfect for all the amazing finds from a well enjoyed vacation!
i would take mine on my surprise 40th birthday getaway next year, i am hoping to visit either new york or las vegas,so this will be perfect for all my fab outfits. if i am really lucky my boyfriend will combine our trip with a wedding ceremony as after 8 years i could do with a lovely surpise lol
I would take it camping with my other half. Plenty of room for all my luxuries to turn grotty camping into glamping.
I would have a couple of pairs of comfy jeans, comfy slippers and comfy pjs, then i would catch a train to cheshire oaks and shop for some lovely things to fill up the rest of my bag! defo some tops to go with the jeans (which i forgot to pack) and some nice underwear, i would then retire to my lovely hotel and relax in my room after a lovely meal, just watching t.v and having some me time.

Fashion trip!
I would take mine to the top of table top mountain, unpack my champagne and chocolate, look over Cape town and toast my tenth wedding anniversary with my husband.
I would take the Tommy trip bag with me and my awesome husband to visit Las Veagas on New Years Eve, this would look very stylish for him to carry. We would only put just a few fun necessities in there for fun (wink wink) its kinda like celebrating a honeymoon we never had.
I would take the Tommy bag all around North America, I would jam pack it with peanut butter m n ms and bottles of pink lemonade. I would be one happy ladddddy!!!!!
I’d love to take a Tommy Trip bag on short jaunts. It’s smart, it’s compact and it’s got lots of zippered pockets, which I love!
Where should we visit, it’s very hard to say.
Don’t want to go too far for a weekend holiday.
Anywhere in Europe would make a pleasant stop.
Not too long a journey just a short cross channel hop.
Of course it could be England the place we both call home.
But best will be for my bag and me an exciting trip to Rome.
I would take my Tommy Trip Bag to Canada to meet my penpal! We both had the same brain operation and cant carry too much, but this bag would be just perfect !
I would like to take the Marcus Trip bag to Chile’s wine country and experience some of the culture and landscape there to relax, refresh, and re-energize before returning back to Burkina Faso, where I work.
If I won the Tommy Bag, it would be packed and ready to go in less than 30 minutes with only one destination in mind. Two words: Positano, Italy.
The world’s my oyster, now I’ve retired – and practical luggage is desired – Nerja, Spain, is my next destination – the Tommy Bag would make it a great vacation!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I will take my bag on my trip following Sir Aurel Stein, an early 20th century archeologist who is credited by the West as discovering the Mogao Caves in Dunhuang, Gansu Province, China. See my video for the details. Thank you!
I’d take my Marcus Trip bag to the end of the world and back. My own mission to confirm the world is round involves travelling as far as I can with my son exploring and learning as we go. In better words: i’d take it everywhere I need to use a practical travel bag!

i would take it on an adventure to Norway, it looks tough enough! Need something indestructible for the cold and train-hopping. K
I would take my Tommy Trip bag everywhere. Because thats where Im hoping to go this year….everywhere!!!
I’d take it island hopping around the Greek islands.Lightweight, yet roomy, I could easily pack all my travel essentials and hop on and off the flying dolphin with ease. I’d watch the millionaire yachts dock on Mykanos and Santorini and mingle with the stylish set, looking every inch the luxury traveller rather than a fun loving backpacker.
I would take my Tommy Trip Bag on our Honeymoon to Canada! It’s the first time I’m meeting his family over there and this would definitely help me to impress!
I’d take my bag with me and drive across America. Staying in motels and eating cheaply, all I’d need is a change of clothes, toiletries and a couple of books
If lucky enough to be picked I will be taking this fab luggage with me on holiday next year. Not sure where we are going yet as hubby is saving hard and depending on funds will depend where we end up! No matter I will feel so cool going anywhere with my gear packed away in these!
Its quite simple why I need the bag. All my other bags are damaged by my travel trips. So I need a new solid one, witch look good. Here it is!
Samoa. It will hold a pair of swimmers, a dress and a few of the local beers, so I can put it down on the sand, open a bottle and slip into the ocean.
Well, we have a little house (project) in SW France and make regular trips there. The Tommy Trip bag would be perfect for putting my laptop, book, purse, passport, chocolate, change of clothes in to, to take on the ferry and make it easy to move around to different parts of the boat rather than being stuck in one place because it is too difficult to gather everything up.
Then, as the project doesn’t yet have a bathroom or shower Tommy would be great to hold our towels, shampoo and swimming gear as we head off to a nearby river (Charente or Vienne) in summer or indoor swimming pool in winter to freshen up!
I bet it would get taken shopping too ;-) So fingers crossed.
