  1. No, socks are never boring. At this freezing time of year they are life-savers. It is well worth investing in cashmere for some comfortable insulation. No one wants to get frostbite.

  2. Personally I just don’t get it. I’m a big 200lbs male who only wears shoes to stop my feet getting cut and suffering frost bite. I don’t do fashion. Full-stop.

I know my partner would love those Korean shoes. As green is her favourite colour I could be in her good books by Christmas motioning. Thanks for the steer.

  3. I always think that a camera at Christmas is a great gift. There’s just so much to shoot. For those of us who live in Snowy States this camera could be the real deal for grabbing some awesome shots of kids playing in the snow, skiing and snowboarding. They are tricky shots and the stabilised camera would be ideal. In cold weather you want your hands in your pocket, not exposed to the elements from carrying a big camera.

  4. Once upon a time a scarf was a primitive piece of wool that you flung around your neck a few times and hoped that it kept the cold out.

How things have changed! How sophisticated is that scarf from Pang Wangle? It does storage and medication too. Whatever next?

  5. There are some lovely pieces on the Ora Nicole Jewelry. Think I might treat my other half to something this Christmas :)

  6. In my line of work I have to attend some fairly dire networking events. Sometimes the drinks provided are almost as bad as the company. Maybe the PortoVino Wine Purse would make life a little more bearable. At least I’d be drinking my own choice of wine. Love the colour too.

  7. You could call my wife an international jet setter but most of the air miles are an unglamorous slog in economy as she travels a lot for work. The Diamond Jetsetter Pouch might just brighten up the trips, at least she’s got something beautiful to look at while she’s queueing for security. Ideal present for the woman who has almost got everything, apart from time at home with her husband.

  8. As I was a little girl I was always taught to write my thank you letters.

For Christmas my usually unimaginative man gave me a white gold Ora Nicole Unity Necklace.

There’s no way that he would have thought of that on his own. I just had to give him a prod in the right direction by leaving my i-pad open at that picture at least three times.

I can’t really thank myself so thank you to A Luxury Travel Blog.

Girls – that’s a free tip for next Christmas or any birthday or anniversary coming up.

  9. Just because Santa’s put away his sleigh for another year doesn’t mean that we’ve stopped giving presents. My wife is incredibly difficult to buy for. I always say that she’s got everything – which of course she disagrees with but there are some great gift ideas here. Many of them still appropriate even though the tinsel’s been long packed away.

  10. I know Christmas is over, but I have been trying to find the perfect gift for my husband since his birthday is coming very soon. And I did not expect that I will find it here. I have been scrolling and scrolling through shopping websites for hoping to find something special for him. Since my husband loves extreme sports, I think I’ll buy one of those Mavic drones and that snow jacket from Quiksilver. He will surely appreciate and use them for his ski trips and adventures.
