  1. Although my wife feels that there are times that she ought to wear heels she’s never happy in them. I know that she would really appreciate a pair of the flat shoes that she could just slot away in her handbag. It’s funny but I’d swear that she’s in a better mood when she’s wearing flats!

    1. Apparently they are Oprah’s favourite ballet flats so they’ve developed quite a cult following. When Oprah likes something, that’s often what seems to happen! I think I read once that she was considered to be one of the world’s most influential women.

    2. In 2010 she was the world’s third most influential woman, ahead of the likes of Angela Merkel and Hillary Clinton. That’s saying something for a TV host.

  2. As we are heading south for some beaches, sun, tequila and the warm Caribbean I think my girlfriend deserves some V2 swimwear to make the most of it!

  3. Yes, you always need some quality bubbles to celebrate over Christmas and New Year. Jaume Codorníu Ars Collecta should do very nicely.

  4. I’ve seen bags with built in places for wires and unobtrusive chargers, but a small purse is a fantastic idea for us ladies who don’t carry bulky backpacks everywhere we go. I love the little Truffle case too. I have something similar for keeping jewellery when I travel but this would make a great gift for others I know they say they keep their earrings and necklaces in their actual coin purse! I’m bypassing the V2 swimwear, don’t have the body to pull off something like that!

  5. What do you buy for the woman who has got everything?

No, I’m not married to Madonna but it does seem to me that my wife has got everything that she needs.

Good to get some inspiration from this list. Time’s running out but internet shopping and next day delivery have made Christmas shopping a little easier.

    1. Still it is a nice problem to have Steve. One that I would have thought gets listed as a “First World Problem” ?

  6. So many great ideas here, thank you. I’m still undecided on what to buy but there’s plenty of food for thought here.

  7. Photography tips? Yes, please! I have a nice camera but would like to learn more about how to get the best out of it, rather than just always resorting to automatic mode. A course would be really useful for me.

    1. They have some great resources on their site, Sally. The nice thing is you can also ‘try before you buy’, as there are many free offerings on there also. You’ll soon get a feel for the quality of the information they provide and see if their style is a good fit for you.

  8. Cute shoes! I love these ballet type flats but they’re a source of shoe envy for me as I’ve never owned a pair. You can find them in lots of styles and they’re often well priced but clearly the comfort and quality varies quite a lot. Never owned a pair myself because they always seem to just fall off, so maybe I have oddly sized small feet. I just think they’d be so handy as a pair of back up shoes to fold into your bag when you’re out and about. Not heard of the brand before but the Tieks sound pretty good with extra flexibility and the ability to mould to your foot. Wouldn’t mind giving them a try, see if they mould to the heel and actually stay on.

  9. I haven’t heard of OROS Apparel but I do love the look of that jacket. Might have to treat myself this Christmas.

  10. Fantastic gift ideas, so beautiful as well as useful for the pampered traveler! The Jacket & Mighty Purse are especially gorgeous.
