Yes, I’m a keen chess player myself. And, whilst you can easily plan on your phone or a tablet nowadays, there’s something nice about getting a proper board out to play.
The thing is that when you get delayed you’re usually running low on phone power too. There are only so many charging points at an airport. I’ve noticed too that planes are banning charging packs. Mine used to be a life-saver. Better to have a traditional game of chess to occupy you.
To be honest I’m ashamed of his old battered camera bag. He’ll be surprised by an upgrade that stylish.

Those international adapter plugs are invaluable. I keep one in my case and never unpack it so that I don’t have to worry about adapters. I’ll get one for my husband so that he can do the same.

Now that my husband has to travel into work again and has to use his bike, having a Evoc bike travel bag at home would be very useful. He’s only going in 2 or 3 days a week and the bag would be useful for keeping our hallway clean. I know – it’s supposed to be a present for him.

My husband thinks that photography with a SLR, even if it’s digital, is becoming a retro hobby as most people use their phones as cameras. I think that leather camera bag would be very appropriate gift for his hobby.
I think most serious photographers would still maintain the best results are achieved with a DSLR (or at the very least a good quality mirrorless camera). Although phones do produce some amazing results nowadays, you can’t pack the same quality into such a small lens.

Now that my husband has to travel into work again and has to use his bike, having a Evoc bike travel bag at home would be very useful. He’s only going in 2 or 3 days a week and the bag would be useful for keeping our hallway clean. I know – it’s supposed to be a present for him.
Haha… if it keeps you happy too, Ellen, then that’s a bonus! I had never thought of using one just to keep a bike under wraps when not in use, but, as a household with about 6 bikes in it (we were at 8 at one point), I can see exactly where you are coming from!
In some ways my boyfriend’s tastes are quite old-fashioned, although he prefers to call them classic. I just know that he would be over the moon with the luxury leather manicure set.

If you’re buying luggage then it’s impossible to do better than Samsonite. My Samsonite luggage has had a tough life and it keeps on doing the job.
Yes, we have one Samsonite case (not too dissimilar to the one pictured) and it has been a trusty travel companion for years.
I’ve got one of those travel mugs and I use it far more than I ever thought I would. They certainly make great presents.

There’s no doubt that my husband would love the G – Shock watch but I think that’s more a very special birthday present than a Valentine’s gift. I’m talking big birthdays that end with a zero here.

My husband thinks that photography with a SLR, even if it’s digital, is becoming a retro hobby as most people use their phones as cameras. I think that leather camera bag would be very appropriate gift for his hobby.
I think most serious photographers would still maintain the best results are achieved with a DSLR (or at the very least a good quality mirrorless camera). Although phones do produce some amazing results nowadays, you can’t pack the same quality into such a small lens.
