With our competition to win a stay at a luxurious hotel suite in London recently achieving more than 1,000 recorded re-tweets, I thought it would be interesting to see where that post ranked compared with others on A Luxury Travel Blog, fully anticipating that it would be one of the most popular posts on the blog of all time. I was surprised to discover, however, that it didn’t even make the top 25… so here I present to you the 25 most popular posts ever made on the blog to date, starting with the most popular first: 1. Suite of the week: Royal Suite at the Hotel Imperial, Vienna 2. Top 10 UNESCO World Heritage Sites 3. 5 truly luxurious all-inclusive 5 star resorts in Turkey 4. The ultimate guide to Madrids Michelin-starred restaurants 5. The 5 best first class airlines 6. Europes best hotel swimming pools 7. Suite of the week: Horizon Overwater Villa at Bora Bora Nui Resort & Spa 8. Top 10 unusual vacation rentals 9. Top 10 destinations in Europe 10. 5 of the best restaurants in Bangkok 11. 6 tips on getting upgraded to first class for free 12. The top 10 luxury ski resorts in Europe 13. The 10 most romantic restaurants in the world 14. The best restaurants in Berlin 15. 10 incredible hotel swimming pools 16. The five most romantic resorts in Bali 17. Sandals Emerald Bay, Great Exuma, Bahamas debuts! 18. Interview with Drew Patterson of Jetsetter 19. The top 5 strangest hotels in the world 20. The best hotel to see the Northern Lights? 21. The 10 rudest nations on the planet 22. The worlds best pools 23. Top 10 spa destinations 24. 10 of the best restaurants in Spain 25. One of the worlds best travel blogs, according to The Telegraph (It should be noted that the number of re-tweets shown on each of these blog posts isn’t accurate. Sadly, the widget used is unreliable and has been reset on at least one occasion, and it regularly doesn’t appear to ‘count’ all the re-tweets that occur.) The blog post to win a luxury London hotel stay lies in about 30th place, so might yet make it into our top 25 if it continues to be as popular up to the entry deadline as it seems to be currently.
