It’s been a promising summer for A Luxury Travel Blog with the total number of unique visitors to the site exceeding 20,000 for three consecutive months of June, July and August. The same three months back in 2006 brought in less than half the visitors that the site enjoys today (nearer one third, in

The L-List on Facebook
Remember The L-List from earlier this year? That was inspired by The T-List which did the rounds among the travel blogging arena. The L-List, of course, was for luxury bloggers and now, like The T-List, we have our own Group on Facebook. If you are already on the L-List, or feel youNew recipe feature on A Luxury Travel Blog

Top 20,000 in Technorati
A Luxury Travel Blog made it into the top 20,000 blogs on Technorati over the weekend. It might not seem like much but, when you consider that this has been achieved in a little over a year and that Technorati currently tracks 71.8 million blogs, that’s no mean achievement. That puts it in'Luxury travel' in Google
Only a week ago, I blogged about A Luxury Travel Blog’s continued progress in the search engines. Some of you may have noticed a few changes to the format of A Luxury Travel Blog this year. In particular, I’ve introduce three new things… firstly, we now have a ‘suite of the week’ every Monday morning which provides an in-depth look at some of the very best accommodation in the world. Secondly,
The L-List
Calling all luxury bloggers! Inspired by the recent T-List that’s doing the rounds, I thought it’s about time we started an L-List. As you may have guessed, L-List stands for Luxury List, and it provides luxury bloggers a means of being discovered. You might be blogging about any aspect of the luxury arena… cars…
Please don't be shy... post a comment!
Although it’s already looking like March 2007 will be yet another record month for traffic on A Luxury Travel Blog (the third such month on the trot), I’m surprised how few of the blog’s posts are actually attracting any form of comment. Please don’t be shy… post a comment! And check the ‘subscribe’ option
The T-List
I’ve been resisting posting details of the T-list but it seems to be spreading around the blogosphere so well that it would be rude not to join in, particularly since A Luxury Travel Blog was one of the first to be listed. I first read about it on Guillame Thevenot’s blog here, but it
Continued progress in the search engines
When I last did an update on the search engine performance of A Luxury Travel Blog, it was positioned #1 for search for ‘luxury travel blog’ on every search engine bar Google where it took the #2 spot. I’m pleased to reveal that that’s now changed and it now achieves a clean sweep of
